Why does this look so much like a Doom mod? (You know, besides the fact that it uses 2d sprites in a 3d environment) I'm serious! This really looks like ZDoom/GZDoom with the third person camera enabled.

I just found the answer to my own question. The developer is using an updated version of Ken Silverman's Build engine! (Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, Shadow Warrior, etc.)
