I like the Ark levels myself. Especially the first time around. The music and atmosphere was top notch, and I believe it's where those crystal enemies are introduced. Love their design and how they bring in a new puzzle element to the game.

Just to be clear, we all hate the Ark levels for being too bloody long, right?

Right. It's good we agreed. 

Ishra's Ark and The Ark Revisited from Klonoa 2? I think they're fun levels, I don't think they're as long as you're exaggerating them to be. Heck, if I think any level is long in Klonoa, it'd probably be Ruins of Sadness (or Kingdom of Sorrow) level in the Kingdom of Sorrow.
