I get all that. I just thought you guys were obsessing over this. To be honest I still do. I mean if you really say you guys aren't then fine. But some of your guys behavior towards this has me thinking otherwise.

I suppose I do come off as obsessive but I guess doing this kind of investigating comes with the territory of running an information/archival based blog. Anyways, won't derail the topic anymore. If anything noteworthy happens, it'll be discussed.

Just found this on Rob Pereyda's LinkedIn.

Make of this as you will but I am praying this "anime magic" involves Klonoa.  :very_angry:

I just submitted a tip to Go Nintendo. How about you try submitting a tip as well? ;)

Klonoa trademark updated with:
2018-12-12   TEAS SECTION 8 & 9 RECEIVED

I think this is simply them renewing Klonoa's US trademark. Section 8 states if you don't renew this yearly, you lose the trademark. Section 9 is in addition to your Section 8 filing, you must also show your mark in use every ten years.

Henshin trademark updated with:
2018-12-14   ASSIGNED TO LIE
2018-12-15   LIE CHECKED SUSP - TO ATTY FOR ACTION

(LIE means Legal Instruments Examiner. Legal Instruments Examiners review legal documents such as tort claims, appeals, and other court documents to determine compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies.)

Interesting. If they're renewing the trademark for something other than "just because" I'd be really interested to know. It's obviously not for the film now.

It seems like things are looking up for HENSHIN, they changed their website and logo up. It just hurts a bit because this all happens after cancelling Klonoa for good. Well, I wish them well. I suppose we can shutter this topic now. Looking at trademarks is too confusing and sometimes doesn't lead to any conclusive information.
