I feel like it will take a while for me to acquire the game

Do you think the game sold enough for Namco to consider continuing with this franchise? Taking into account this heavily reused assets from the original games which would mean less money was spent on the remake so it's more likely sales could bring back Namco's money's worth, as well as all the instances of topping the Steam and eShop charts, to the point of even crashing steam, I would like to say that I believe there's a fair chance of Klonoa continuing! Although with numbers given from Famitsu of sales for japan, it's a little concerning. But still, it doesn't take into account steam or overseas sales, so all things considered it's not too bleak. I just keep hearing people be so (understandably) pessimistic about Phantasy Reverie that it brings me down a bit, but I'm still going to keep hope.

... TO bad they screwed part of the fanbase and don't seem to care.
Because they made the text fully automatic without even the option of setting it to manual..

People Like me are now 100% unable to follow the dialogue / story, because it simply goes way to fast.

There are a good ammount of poeple with a meriod of reading problems.
Including people Like me with bad eyesight.

I had no issues with the originals on PS1 and 2 cos they did not fully auto progress the text there.
Neither did I have an issue with the WiiMake since they had voice acting (So even though the text did auto progress it was not really an issue because of this).

But in this version I gues I'm just screwed.

I sent a feedback/issue report to BANDAI NAMCO.
But didn't get anything besides a default reply of "We will send your feedback along to the developers".

This was in the week of its release mind you.

So yeah..
Even though it looks great and plays great, I'm still very mutch annoyed and saddened because of this stupid isue.

Because of this I have not been motivated to go any farther than Vision 1-1 of DTP.
Gues I'm stuck with the original on PS1/2 and the Wiimake.

Darn...
 :angry2: :very_angry: :(

Honestly, I'm just happy to be able to play the games (natively) on PC now, even if I had to download from Steam...

It's also a way for newcomers to try the games without forking out for the outrageous prices resellers are asking for the original.

EthanGold17961

I was going to download it on the pc, but apparently it doesn't run...

What do you mean? You don't meet the requirements?

Cobra!

Well, do you have any of the consoles the game was released on?

Still does not change the fact that it is very dissapointing.

Plus about new people being able to play it.
yeah sure... exlucing people Like me though.
Well at least when it comes to getting the full experiance.
So even that is limited because of this.

I actully did pay about € 130,- for the PS1 version a while ago.
PAL version since I'm in the PAL region.

I Used to play it on the PS3 with a €5,- PSN version of the game.
But I wanted to have a physical copy o fit.

At least I can play the PS1 ans Wii version of DtP.
And the PS2 version of LV.

That's something I gues.

Howerver if they do at some point make a Klonoa 3 I would really appreciate it if I could actually follow the dia in that one.
If they decide to once again go the same direction as with this remake... That would really make me sad.
