The Klonoa games have some of the best music compositions in gaming history. What are some of your favorite songs from the games?

Some of my favorites are Untamed Heart from Klonoa 1, and Shattered Memories from Klonoa 2.

I was going to bring the Lunatea's Veil songs that i love the most, but, it's always the usual suspect, so, i'm not bringing it here...

If you never played Door to Phantomile Playstation 1, please, play that game, and don't check this here while you haven't... You won't ever appreciate the music as much if you haven't played that game, and that version specificly...

Beats From Above all the way  :D  very much from the era, but it suits the Gelg Bolm boss handsomely. When I heard it for the first time, the introduction tones were already pumping me with energy, and then it slam dunked the feels with that menacing Amen Break mix!

Untamed Heart is a great melody near the climax of Klonoa's story in the first game, I'd have to agree on that one. Sometimes I listen to it to even out the mood!

I especially adore Klonoa's 'main' themes from both games. Namely The Windmill Song, and the master-craft that is Going to Lunatea (which directly succeeds "Seaway" from the same level, I believe I mentioned how much I love magical of an introduction this is before  :) )

And an honorable mention to Hyuponia/Ruin of Sadness. It's a beautiful homage to the music of the previous game while presented in a melancholic tone which perfectly characterizes the level it plays in. A friend of mine liked this one so much he wouldn't stop talking my ear off about it! Even recently!

But really all of Klonoa's music is great! Namco's high quality standard in these regards are no exception to this franchise. Even some of the spinoff portable console games are pretty good, although I've not gotten around playing those yet.

I really enjoy the song Count Three, it's in the 3rd vision or 4th vision of Forlock (It might be my favourite song).  :hey:

I also really lolve The Ruin's Air, Baldium's Dive, Red Heat Coronia, Dawn Over Dawn and Dark into Dark.

My favourite of L'sV is Volkies Song, I just think this track is great and I feel euphoria while listening to it.

I also REALLY like Stepping Wind, this song convinced me to play Klonoa (Sorry Rapappa)  :embarassed:

I think DtP has a better soundtrack while L'sV has better tracks.

My absolute favorite level tracks from LV are Under the Frontlines/Volkies' Song and Echoes of the Factory/Underground Factory. My favorite boss theme from LV is Polonte the Hatchling, with the King of Sorrow and Cursed Leorina as close seconds.

DtP, far and away my favorite level themes are Forlock Twist and The Closing Encounter (if I had to choose, otherwise I couldn't put any above any other). Favorite DtP boss theme is Beats from Above.

Underrated as it is, I also like Moonlight Museum's soundtrack. It has a more quiet and isolated feeling to it than others in the series, which I think fits the atmosphere of a dream well. My favorite level theme from MM is that of the last main exhibit\world, Selfish Museum.

Don't know the GBA games as well. For EoD it's Ghazzaland, DCT's pick is the train levels.
And Heroes... I like both the Water and Desert world themes.

From the first game, I love Cursed Pamela! On my first playthrough, I wasn't really trying to beat it because it would mean the music would end. :embarassed:

As for the second game, I love pretty much all of it! I have the OST on record, cassette and CD, and listening to it always takes me back to being a kid when the PS2 launched, and that feeling of seeing that console for the first time after only being exposed to the PS1 previously. :O

I like the first stage music from the first GBA game, the surfboard music from the second, and the results screen music from Beach Volleyball!

Got all that, too!  ;D
And yeah, the first stage from EoD is Ghazzaland.

I can not pin point anymore, i know i mentioned earlier, but, really, Door to Phantomile... I can't pick my favorite, but a game like L'sV is easier to pick my favorites since that isn't a constant high to me.

But why do that when i can do something more niche like Moonlight Museum... Yeah, i like that game's soundtrack, it's depressing, it's empty, it's, actually perfect because of that. I know, normally i'd just say it's the opening song, but i would say it's probably either World EX or World 4.
Other-wise i don't like Moonlight Museum that much, or, even EOD, i already think Klonoa's gameplay was rigid and not very interesting on DtP or L'sV despite those being the better playing games to my eyes... But now it's even more rigid the puzzle games.

But at that point... We might as well make a Tekken 4 Klonoa prologue.
