it should auto resize if it is in the [img ] [/img ] tag omit the spaces

From my own messing around yeah that is what happens.

Spoiler tags kill the re sizeing somehow.

Yes, spoiler tags does kill resizing. I prefer that if you have a lot a pictures to share to either use spoiler tag. As for everything else, you don't need it.
