RollingMeowCat has posted efforts of trying to decipher and understand the hex information; in the wrong way but it's clear he had made an effort.
What I saw from you was... well a screengrab of what you see when you open the rom file up, completely unchanged in a hex editor. If you want to prove me wrong by posting a screenshot that shows what you've been able to decipher out of it, to prove me wrong, that'd be great.
I personally hate working solo on projects, but if you're to sit and look at reality - if I was to work together with anyone willing to work on the project; would I be held up, or simply be better off flying solo?
Now if someone else were to prove fluency in being able to learn anything when required to; bearing in mind my first time even attempting to romhack was 2 days ago and now I'm ahead, I would love to work with them. So far I've only seen instances of almost everyone giving up at the first hurdle. Go on, one of you, prove me wrong, show me what you can actually do - It'd make me happy if anything else.
You can take jabs at me and formulate a hate mob all you like for my cynicism but it's not as if they go completely unfounded. If you think I'm arrogant for putting effort into something for the community and then pointing out that a simultaneous project is not diverting their efforts into the right area then feel free. It's not as if anything more is achieved than what already is.
-That screengrab was done by last December, nearly 7 months ago, when I just started working on the project. As far as progress made, that's on my desktop, which I'm not able use at the moment due to my power supply, and my work is on that computer. Even then why should I post my work to appease you?
-That's on you, whether you do it solo or not. Again, I have to divide my attention between work, family, this site, and numerous other things. I knew I would get held up. I didn't have plans that it would be done right away
-Wowee, congrats, you started working on it and you're supposedly ahead. Do you want a gold star? I'm glad you're doing well, that's fine and dandy, you're not really doing anything to help other than feeling that you must gloat about being "2 days ago and I'm already ahead." You're not being helpful at all. And yes I do feel you're being quite arrogant, to be honest.
-A hate mob? I'm the only one arguing with you on this matter, as is it. I don't need anyone to fight my battles. So with that said, we'll continue to do things our way, I'm sure we'll do just fine without your input.
