It was some Sailor Moon game (I think) for the SNES, I've barely got past writing a transcript.

The way I was doing it was that I would write the game's script in a word document and translate it before actually hacking the game.
It was long and tedious, to say the least.

When I attempted this I was gonna get my Japanese friend to help me but she moved back to Japan before I had the chance to ask her.
I'm studying Japanese now independently (and poorly) because most of the anime I watch now is in Japanese and fandubs don't sound good to me.
