The game releases on April 11, 2017. Due to "unforeseen technical issues", the Wii U version has been cancelled, HOWEVER, a Switch version will be released in it's place. More details on it in January.

I'm sure nobody minds that the WiiU isn't getting it as long as the Switch does, that might attract people into buying the console. I may not have grown up playing Banjo-Kazooie but this looks like the kind of game I would really enjoy.

ack yeah I had heard about this from old friends on skype actually. Well from a business point of view after recent event's it would be a high risk to the company's publicity to keep him as a backer.
