I got it off of shapeways.com and hand painted it myself.
It makes a good alternative to the Klonoa figurines released long ago which have become impossibly rare.
They were put up by gunyentony and can be purchased in pieces or pre-assembled.
It's a bit pricey but I think it's worth it if you wanna give yourself a little painting project and a cool desktop buddy to boot!

What kind of paints work best with this?

I used acrylic paint. It seems to work just fine. I am unsure of any other types since the 3d printing material is plastic with a slightly textured feel.
