TO ANYBODY WILLING TO SEARCH FOR THE GAME FILE - Please be extremely careful when downloading from Chinese rom hosts. It seems many that claim to host this game are actually traps filled with bloatware and other viruses. Always test files under Windows's sandbox or any other virtual machine.

Thanks to Jpanboy on Twitter, a Chinese version of Klonoa Wii has surfaced on the respective country's streaming site Bilibili. This version features a unique Chinese logo and all text is translated. Only the audio remained Japanese (I assume Phantomilian is still available).

The game appears to be running on a PC and there have yet to be any reports of physical copies. So we're either dealing with some type of iQue distribution of the game or this could be a very elaborate fan translation. Nobody has been able to find the ISO/whatever type of file the game runs on yet.

A small update. During a very late night scour Vokadae and I were able to dig this video up.

It's dated Feb. of 2011, meaning this translation isn't new and leads me to believe it's an official release unless someone very talented at the time put all this work into it. Still haven't a clue of the ISO's whereabouts or anything else really. At first we believed this was made recently but instead it just seems the Chinese audience has only rediscovered the game.

Huepow looks like he's laughing in one of the shots. And OH JESUS does Lephise looks terrible. This has been a nice reminder that this ending is ruined in this version. Oh well. It'd be neat if there was a version with actual Chinese voices though, I'm just imaging this playing out with them in my head. It is a very odd sight.
