So I went ahead and plugged it in today without a transmitter or whatnot. It does work!
And so this means I can actually play Door to Phantomile and Klonoa Beach volleyball on an actual console!

I got a Model 1 PS1 memory card from Japan now, my PS2 slim model is not compatible with the slim PS1 memory cards, only the model 1, and it works!

It's the SCPH 9000 models of PS2 that are very strict with them, any previous revision works well with any.

Yesterday, My dad found a computer, it fell out of someone's truck and yeah.
It turns out to be a Windows XP computer
Mom wanted one for games so dad handed it to us
So yeah, we have an XP computer now

There is a bunch of old software on it

I've even found Flash player in the files, alongside with like old wallpapers and all

And even some that requires Internet, though I've been told to not connect the XP computer to the internet

Here's just general advice: you should check what's the graphics device is and find the drivers for it
