I think the Slosher is hilarious and I'd use it except I don't like the sub. I'm trying to learn the Gatling gun but...my job is in peak season so I'm never home until the weekend and at that point I'm just a zombie anyway. I wish the Gatling gun was a wind up like every other game in existence because charging it just confuses me every time.
America's first splatfest Cat v Dog was the best one; I really enjoyed the miiverse posts for CatvDog. So far I've been on the winning team for all 3 splatfests

I'm re-rolling gear with 1/3 chance of a sub I want but man
the other splatfest topics have been a bit lackluster in terms of player response. There were some good Marshmallow vs Hotdog posts but not nearly as many in cat v dog. Hopefully the next splatfest is something less abstract than Rollercoaster vs Waterslide...not a whole lot of material to work with there
Oh and the map updates...quite the shocker when I logged in...totally threw me off of my strat. I haven't played enough hours to know if the maps are better or worse for the change. Of all changes Urchin Underpass has a lot of new vision obstructions and 3rd person shooter disadvantages so hopefully it gets revisited but again...I really haven't spent a lot of time on the revamped maps. On the plus side there's more music tracks
