Hmm one guess is making the dream reflect it's self but i'm thinking not as logically on this.
Like say you saw you self in a mirror you would remember the image of your self more clearly.
Well I guess a mirror spirit could make a dream keep it's memory or shape.
like an after image burned into a screen or the rings of ripples in water made from an odd shaped object.
