So what out of a computer display do you prefer monitors or HDTVs I honestly like HDTVS you get a better detailed screen than some monitors imo.
I exist in your thoughts and dreams.

I prefer computer monitors due to flexibility refresh rate and resolution.

I would like HDTV's for haveing a large screen but recently large format Computer Monitors are becoming slightly more common.

I'm currently on an hdtv atm. it sucks in ways. it has dumbfounded EDID that tells the wrong resolution to my videocard and it's colors are bad. also it's scaler for not native resolutions is horrific  x_x

Computer monitor, if only because when I used an HDTV as a second monitor the colors were frustratingly off and there was no way to fix it. I have an old-ish monitor that's about the same size as my TV (22") and I'm much much happier with it even if it's probably outdated.

Rupurudu!

No difference. They both use same panel inside, so you get the same quality.

Only minor things differ. For example HDTV's have good-ish internal speakers, if you want a clean desk, you can get rid of the sound system. In contrast, when you shutdown your computer, HDTV's switch to TV mode or another signal, you need to manually shutdown them too.
