I barely remember Klonoa heroes story in detail right now it's been a while. I want to say he might have blown him self up but right now all I remember is Joka got really mad and became flower Joka for a boss fight.


That part of the story is mentioned in the translation threads somewhere near the end of volk city.

Also near the end of this video but I only have it in Japanese.

Anyway, I'm really rusty on Klonoa Heroes' story, but I vaguely remember there being a decoy Joka involved. I'm fairly sure Flower Joka isn't the real Joka, but I can't remember if he actually died or if it was a bluff or what :S

Yeah. I saw a scene on YouTube and he did commit suicide in Klonoa Heroes by blowing himself up in a rather anti-climactic way. He did the same thing in Namco X Capcom.

i never played Klonoa Heroes much but i remember didn't Klonoa stop Joka from committing suicide? i mean, the Klonoa wiki says he protests against Joka's attempt of suicide http://klonoa.wikia.com/wiki/Klonoa_%28character%29

Well, I'd copy/paste the script translation of Joker's death scene in NXC, but for some reason, I can't even highlight it. So I just took a screenshot and will just put it here. Basically, take out all of Saya's lines and Gantz' last line and you'll have the translation to the video.

Joka tried to take down the trio with him by exploding himself, but it turned out to be a dud. So he pretty much killed himself. You could say he was 'clowning around' even to his death
