you can make the game work on version 1.5.0-dev-1720 and later if you force in the ipu patches

I can no longer get any region version of Klonoa 2 to run on pcsx2 version 1.4.0. The old Volk city hang patches involving the IPU no longer work it seems.
There are many various other bugs but I'll start with explaining the main issue first. I'm going to leave the videos as links because I have a lot and it's hell to load all of those at once.
The old volk freeze patch is broken. The game similarly crashes in volk inferno and dark sea of tears as well.

Anyways I'm posting this thread here in hopes that the game gets some awareness and maybe at lest a new volk city hang fix. I don't know how to make those sort of patches my self.

For those of you who still play Klonoa 2 on emulator this is the exact version I record and still play Klonoa 2 PAL stably on with widescreen patch and game fixes working on pal 50hz and 60hz modes

Your "Le Crash" is the same one I get when I try enter 60Hz mode in the PAL version of the game. 50Hz works fine though.

  They are doing stuff with Klonoa 2 now :UUU I don't know why they removed the broken IPU hack yet but it's a sign I got their attention with a certain thread of mine  YAAAAY

I've been trying for days on end looking everywhere and using the pcsx2 wiki entries... I've fixed most (if not i haven't come across any sound issues) including the wind bullet. Suffered no crashing or graphical errors. Buuuuuut...  i need to do a full play-through to ensure any problems...

when that's done i can report back with my findings and we can all rejoice in harmony! That or Namco bloody release the game on other platforms.

fun fact: if Namco followed through with there so-close Gamecube port, we could all just use the much more stable dolphin emulator. But alas...

Oh The only problem i have had is the game refuses to boot on 60hz, any advise?

Sooo. as of pcsx2 build 2155 the IPU patches are working again    evrything up to build 2175 works right now.
