While I was looking at Klonoa stuff on Twitter, I stumbled upon tweets from Games.it and Gameempire.it, the same sites that reported on a rumor of a new Klonoa title back in 2014, neither of them citing sources. Apparently, Games.it reported on it on August 7, 2014, at (judging by the tweet) 9:36 PM.

So, I think I figured out Gameempire's source. It may have been Games.it. What Games.it's source was, I have no idea.

Games.it is talking about the possibility of Namco porting Klonoa Wii over to PS4/XBONE as an digital release.

Then speculated that they may do more Klonoa-stuff if the digital game sells well.

Klonoa Wii is already playable on the Wii U. Both Physical and Digital.

No. That's just physical. And it's through the Wii U's backwards compatibility.

But yeah. Since the physical disk is technically playable they probably aren't in a rush to do a digital port.

Wii U is essentially dead as of Spring 2017, anyway.
