So I'm sure some of you might remember this Paper Mario styled Klonoa I made a while ago, right?

Well today, I've decided to expand upon it. Check out this new and improved version:

Looks much better, right? This time I put effort into the shading and outlines instead of using solid black to make sure it lines up with the actual Paper Mario aesthetic.
But I'm sure you might've noticed how much smaller he is. Well, that's because he's scaled with Super Paper Mario sprites. Take a look at this:

Which brings me to another thing: Layers. Now the original Paper Klonoa was made to be a one-time thing, so I merged it all together and forgot about the rest. Not for this new one. Much like an actual Paper Mario character, all of his parts are separate to make for easy posing and more. Although it's not much (yet), here's every part of Paper Klonoa deconstructed.

So where do I plan to go with this? Well, I'm not making a fangame out of it, that's for sure. I don't have that kind of skill. But I do plan on making mock-up screenshots. Once I finish more characters, I plan on making fake screenshots using ROBLOX Studio for the 3D backdrops, and
Paint.NET for the HUD and text.
To-do list (As of now):
-Huepow (I plan on simplifying his design, as in removing his mouth and making his eyes a bit bigger. Similar to how Kersti and Huey, Paper Mario's most recent partners, are mainly a shape with eyes)
-More props, like Klonoa's ring
-Basic enemies (Like Moos)
-More characters (Mainly focused on the ones important to DTP's story)
-More arms, hands, facial expressions
So yeah, that's what I've got so far. What do you guys think?
