Sorry I've not been active like old days. Stress. Drama. having to keep watch over a lot of things will kill any free time and will to try things :(

But anyways I managed to finally get to record Klonoa 2 as it would be on a real ps2 and not through emulation.
I'm happy to have finally gotten a chance to do it after like 2 years of slowly gathering what I needed to finally be able to show the game as it normally is.

Best watched on a 4:3 CRT Monitor. Maybe at 1920x1440 but any resolution above 640x448 along with good contrast and not over saturated color should be fine.

Rupurudu!

Hey, which capture card you use? I recommend you to use PAL SCART or VGA, if you have cables and your capture card supports those.

Also if your PS2 is chipped, you can force PS2 to run in 1080p resolution. http://psx-scene.com/forums/f291/gs-mode-selector-development-feedback-61808/

Man I wish I had scart + vga or scart capture. and a good capture card for that.
But instead the best I have is this :( http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-2-0-HD-Audio-Video-Composite-S-video-Ypbpr-AV-Capture-Card-Grabber-/390817274207?hash=item5afe86595f the component on it is HORRIFIC and so I just used a really good s-video cable to record. Amarec does the interlacing / some video fixing and 60fps

Also my PS2 is not chip modded but I can load freemcboot and use GSM however Klonoa 2 has a problem when forced into any other video mode except 480i ntsc :( it's vertical resolution gets cut in half and I get a 640x224@60hz progressive like image even on 1080i. it's not good :(

Now if I get lots of money I would gladly record Klonoa 2 via scart to vga on an sc-512 video capture board or even add in a line doubler on that just to see how it goes.
