Members of the Klonoa Collective
We have made a mistake that we deeply regret.
Recently, a user who asked to remain nameless alerted us that we accepted stolen artwork in our first issue. We were not aware that this was submitted by someone who wasn't the artist at the time, and now that we are, we will be taking down the fan art section of issue one until we can fix the page.
We need the people contributing to this magazine to understand that art theft will not be tolerated. When you submit any media to this magazine, you are claiming ownership of it. Taking work that someone else created (usually, without permission) and claiming ownership of it (or not crediting the original artist) is art theft and it is unacceptable. The user who submitted stolen work is now currently suspended from submitting content to the magazine until we can get things sorted out, and they will have their name removed from the credits of issue one and be removed from any possible drawing we have to give out physical issues. We take this very seriously.
We want to apologize for our negligence, for allowing this to bypass our check and publishing work that we did not have permission to publish from the original artist. We will be much more conscious to make sure this never happens again.
Thank you.
