Door to Phantomile Sprite Rips

As you all know, Door to Phantomile on PS1 uses sprites for all its characters and enemies, with the exception of Ghadius and the bosses.

Has anyone ripped these sprites? Indeed, IS there a way to rip them?  :unsure:

I haven't been able to find a rip of these sprites anywhere on the Internet, so if anyone here can point me in the right direction, that'd be great  :)

They are not perfect but if you are planning to do a Klonoa Fan Game I think they will work well.

once my main pc is up and running again i can make a rip of all the character sprites and models but it might be a month or two before i have a new pc or fix my old pc. but once i have my pc up and running again i can rip the disk contents and find the directory where the compressed sprites are stored but the decompression part ill have to leave to whoever know how to do that kind of stuff :unsure:, because im not too advanced in file compression and decompression formats... but if anyone can help with that please do.

Hi! I know this topic has not been touched in a while but I am sure there are some folks interested in the content.
I have ripped all sprites from the game, including textures, and compiled them into a zip file that you can download on Mediafire. I would link it right here but I am not sure if it is okay to distribute that content here. If a moderator or someone knowledgeable about that could let me know, I will edit this accordingly!

None of the files have names that give any hint as to what they are, so sadly you will have to sort through the ~3000 or so images.

I've had some DtP rips on my computer for a while that I recently decided to sort and I figured I should post them here. Unfortunately, it doesn't include the 2D character sprites mentioned in the original post. What it does include, though, is every tileset (or whatever the equivalent term for a 3D game is), textures for some (all?) of the 3D modeled characters, miscellaneous menu and particle graphics, and all of the background images (but it looks like their palettes are broken).
It's also got all of the FMVs in AVI format and the songs as WAVs (no sound effects, unfortunately).
The whole rip is pretty large (3.32GB uncompressed) so I'll also include individual graphics, music, and FMV ZIPs.

I figure this'll be useful to someone here.

Character sprites in particular have been nigh impossible to obtain. Others online have posted isolated pre-rendered cutouts from certain cutscenes, but that's it. And that's not from digging into the game either. I'm fairly positive those were done by manually cutting the sprite out with Photoshop or some other equivalent programs.

The biggest issue we would face is managing how sprites are formatted. There was a corruption video on Youtube that goofed around with DtP and for split seconds, you could see how Klonoa would be broken apart like a puppet. So if we could ever rip them directly from the deeply embedded files of the game, we would have to spend even more time putting everyone together like puzzles. Unfortunately the game isn't set up exactly like Donkey Kong Country or most other pre-rendered graphics. It's far more detailed.

If it's any consolation I can confirm that the sprites used for character models are for the most part using the correct palettes, it's just that they're split apart into multiple 64x64 images. Nahatomb in particular looks pretty complete from a quick glance, but there are a lot of interlocking textures to account for split into about 16 pieces.

OOoo the graphics are better organized than the mess I got last time I ripped textures a long time ago. But yeah that sprites are a bunch of parts put together :( There is even an odd texture in 5-1 or 5-2 intro where Klonoa's collar gets gold/yellow accent's instead of silver.
