I'd like to ask you all what is your favorite 2D or 2.5D Platformer?

For me, it's the Donkey Kong Country series, Klonoa 1 and 2 and Dynamite Headdy.

Hm, that's good question.

I grew up on DKC, so naturally it's one of my favorite games that rival Klonoa for favorite games.

Hmm I don't normally have favorites but I remember the 2 tomba games that ever existed for ps1 way back then being quite fun.

Hands down, it's gotta be Mario Bros. Which one? Any one!

Super Mario World was the first game I've ever played (and it's still fun to play today); and since then, not only have I become a huge fan of the series, but the series itself helped shape me into who I am now  ^_^ (Of course, Klonoa's right up there with Mario as well   ^^;  )

Best game? I would say, GO GO MARIO! What mario? SUPER MARIO BROS. STOMP GOMBAAS, MAKE TURTLES FEAR FROM THEIR SHELLS, MAKE BOWSER FALL FROM HIS KINGDOM, BECOME FIRE MARIO AND BURN THE HELL OF THE LEVEL! oh? you're bored? BRING LUIGI TO GIVE YOU EXTRA 3 LIVES!

Oh goodness, as one who grew up on the SNES, where do I start?
I LOVE the DKC trilogy, Super Mario World, is.. Yoshi's Story a platformer? Rayman, Klonoa (Door to Phantomile, Lunatea's Veil, Dream Champ Tournament), I'm prrrreettyy sure Crash 3 Warped is a platformer, but I don't know if it's 2.5D... Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards...
That's all at the top of my head. Mainly because I can't remember anything else right now, too many games xD;

My favorite 2.5D platformer is Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil :P

I've got a lot of favorite 2D platformers but it's hard to pick just one. Rayman Legends on Wii U, VVVVVV on 3DS, Super Castlevania IV on SNES, and Kirby Super Star Ultra on DS are some of my top favorites.
