Is the klonoa anime still a thing?

it has been in development for 2 years now if i'm not mistaken, and i haven't heard anything about it for a while. in the team henshin twitter they have been posting some klonoa things but nothing about the anime, is it still in development? if so, are there any release dates or something?

As of last month, they are pursuing finance and distribution deals.

Hoping that all works out well for Henshin. It's probably a difficult task finding people who will help finance a project involving an unpopular property. Rob seems to have connections with those who've had business in huge animation groups, though, so things sound promising regarding quality. He's learned a lot from convention panels too which gives him a fairly good chance to strike some nice deals.

Would you guys prefer adaptations of the events from the games (like the archie megaman comics) or completely original stuff

But the thing is that we have been waiting for a long time for a confirmation about the movie being produced. I don't know how the film business works, but at this rate I'm only getting more worried about being unsuccessful...

Two years come the 28th of October.
Also, I wouldn't worry much about it.
Film making (animated especially) can be a while.
You gotta have the artists, the art director, the voice talents, the voice director, the main director, the writer(s), etc.

Stuff like that takes a while.
