Nice, i am planning on streaming this and considering to use this for speed runs, i just am gonna check to see if this patch runs the same as the original game because translating games can sometimes effect the core game, an example of this is Kingdom Hearts HD games which is known to load Japaneses text then loads the englsih text over it, which causes really awful load times


Can i ask why exactly has the project halted? i heard it was the programmer was only assigned to do the cut scenes. (i would join the discord but i do not use discord often anymore and i am in too many servers)

Anyways from what I know the hacker F-Man had paid scammed them out of roughly $1000 / ran off with it without completing the work they agreed too.

How does that happen? I guess they paid them beforehand and never got any safeguards in place to make sure they could keep them in check to make sure they finish the work? That really sucks. Surely there's someone who would do it for free, I know the fans of the MOTHER series were able to do it for MOTHER 3

Asking someone who doesn't have a personal connection to the series and project to do this for free is extremely unrealistic and unreasonable. It's a lot of work and a huge commitment.

I just meant that I think there are people out there who might, because it happened for the MOTHER 3 project, and that was an extremely massive undertaking in the day, and it was done entirely 100% free by just a team of extremely dedicated hardcore fans. I suppose that happening here is a lot less likely because of how much more obscure Klonoa Heroes is, but just saying it's a possibility since it seems to have been at least partially completed already.

Getting it done sooner rather than later though, yeah, someone will probably have to be put on task to do it, hopefully someone more trustworthy

Yeah, I know what you mean. Unfortunately, "labor of love" efforts have all died before they got out the gate in previous attempts. There just isn't really anyone in the fandom with the specific knowledge/skills to get it done on their own, at least so far. ):
