It finally got a release date (18th of this month) and I'm actually hyped to play Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario 64 again even if I played the DS remake for 64,(I never played Sunshine tho).

I heard it will be available for a limited time and I don't really understand why.

What do you guys think of the game?

Jeyrolami

A bit underwhelming and disappointing but that won't stop me from buying the game

I think it's unfair to call it 3D All Stars. The Mario All Stars collection listed every game up to its SNES games (even included SMW in some carts) and also updates the graphics and music. 3D All Stars doesn't do ANY of that honestly. Would have loved to see a reamake of Mario 64. I mean I guess they updated the textures but that's so lazy. Even the Mario 64 DS remake did a better job off adding more ocntent, characters and updating the models. I'm happy to see Sunshine again, kinda curious how they'll pull the trigger mechanism since there's no stage 2 analog triggers for the Switch. And Galaxy? I hope there is a way to attack without waggle. Everything else could stay the same and I'd be okay with that.

About the "limited time" thingy, it's probably going to release again not too long after the "expire date". Kinda like what they did with Super Mario All Stars and Kirby Dream Colleciton on the Wii. Note, just my supposition.
If you're asking (I know you aren't, but I like talking ;) ) I probably won't get it until, like, a week or two. Just to know if I'm buying the same cartridges and discs I already have or there is even a little tiny smally change

Woah I didn't expect to see this topic keep on going, nice!

I think they could have done a better job with the graphics and stuff but I ain't an expert so I dunno. Also from what I've seen it will not be possible to use a Gamecube controller for Sunshine and if it's true then that's pretty confusing.

So yea, I think I said it before in this topic so sorry if I repeat myself but I too don't think to buy it immediatly even because it's 60€

If wanted to know how Mario Galaxy's controls worked on things like the pro controller, GameXplain has you covered.
