We will also need some one to make a pdf guide of Klonoa to make sure we don't break the games canon. For this it is important to update the wiki http://klonoa.wikia.com/ and the tv tropes page http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/VideoGame/Klonoa?from=Main.Klonoa Alot could be updated for example in the wiki the pictures of Nahtomb forms aren't present in the gallery despite the fact they are Unlockable in the Wii version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfPl9ez2eUg

Here something to remember all the characters http://phuijl.deviantart.com/art/Dreams-and-Nightmares-150725094

I would not fret about disrupting canon if you keep the story manage-ably small and on the boundaries of the Klonoa universe. As I mentioned earlier making a new story that has no or very few ties to canon is probably the best thing to create a smooth and effective fan film. It's okay to take a risk or two in the story but if the risks are too bold, complex or big the core story, not just the canon, could be fail.

If you haven't been watching Extra Credit or taken academic paths to writing and film I suggest viewing these:

I haven't had time to think about a story idea but with a 3 day weekend I should be able to think of something.

I have to agree. A lot of Klonoa universe stuff hasn't been updated in a while. I would like to update some of the enemies and such on the wiki page, but I don't have an account there. I sort of feel the longer we go without a game, the less fans Klonoa gets. It's a shame.

Can't you make an account on klonoa wiki?

has a story been decided on? Last night an idea came to me. The gist of it is Klonoa ends up in a phantomile which is being threatened by an old yet well known legend. The source of evil threatens to devour all matter and leaving only the empty spirits of those caught in its wake. If evil wins, the phantomile will essentially be an empty abyss filled only with the spirits of who remain; trapped in a sort of limbo. Visually it would look similar to Zelda: Twilight Princess when living things are caught in twilight however in this story even the land is consumed; not just its people.

So Klonoa ends up in this phantomile. Learns about the legend and its people however the people have accepted their doom. Klonoa tries to bring hope by going about solving the problem. He is accompanied by someone who knows the lands and the lore and some sense of hope is shared. In the end Klonoa falters and his only friend who summoned Klonoa dismisses Klonoa from the dream moments before the phantomile is consumed. Klonoa, being forced to return to his home, has to deal with his 'failure' and the slight betrayal of his friend. Eventually, if the story persists, Klonoa learns of a way to revisit and save the phantomile after it was fully consumed.

Interesting idea can you write your story on wattpad.com

I've never heard of wattpad but I'll look into it. What exactly do you wish for me to put through the wattpad program? The storyboard? character bios? timeline?

Having never heard of wattpad and skimming the internet at work during my lunchbreak all I know is wattpad is an ebook editing program for unpublished writers.

Your story I want you to publish it on wattapad.
