I'm still flaming nintendo for console's performance. They are still using same architecture with GameCube, which will make it's graphics look like 90's when compared to PlayStation and xbox.
Klonoa was successful on PSone and Klonoa 2 was successful on PS2, and I also think that Klonoa 3 will more successful on PlayStation.
same architecture =\= same specs
Nintendo uses the PowerPC (or maybe ARM now) architecture, this architecture uses the RISC instruction set, and is much faster compared to Intel processors with the same speed. Gamecube is crappy if you compare it to its era's computers, yet graphics were amazing and still are for the time. Why this? Optimization. Wii U is fast enough to get graphics as good as PS4/Xbone because Nintendo optimizes things. There are PS4 and Xbone games that are still 30fps 1080p or 720p and have framerate issues, while I always see quality in Nintendo's games, 2nd parties and third parties. Having a super powerful console doesn't mean it will run well if the games aren't optimized. A console with less power can perform better than one with more, as long as it's optimized.
Also Klonoa wouldn't really do that well on PS4, because there are "hardcore gamers" that want muh AAA generic shooter titles. There's already an estabilished community on the Wii U instead.
P.s: Remember that Wii U handles 2 screens and still goes 60fps
