Okay, that does it. Next paycheck, I'm getting Star Fox Adventures and Assault. I REALLY want to play Assault, but I feel like playing Adventures will help me appreciate Assault a little more.

Take it from me, Adventures...well. It's OKAY, just don't expect much from the Arwing segments, as small as they are, and you should be fine. Oh, and cubes aren't necessarily pushed in exact grid movements. There's a part where knowing that might make something a LITTLE less annoying than usual...

and Assault? It's a decent game. No Starfox 64, sure, but it's definitely worth a play for any StarFox fan.

I've never played Command, so I'm not touching up on that.

Though, you won't ultimately miss anything if you played Assault before Adventures...I guess you might not want to play it as much if you already played Assault, I guess.

However, I've seen some negative criticisms on its writing, and my brother, who has played all the (released) games, the SNES original included, calls it the only game in the series he outright hates, though its less to do with the story and more to do with the gameplay.

I personally dislike Command. The only thing I liked about it was the online multiplayer dogfights, even then was rather eh. But if you want your own opinion about it, give it a try.

As for getting Assault and Adventures, well, you don't need to play either really in any order since they standalone by themselves, but they sorta do offer a kind of continuity. I liked Adventures as it was Zelda-like in a way and also the music was awesome. I liked Assault as it had awesome music and an awesome story, but it was short and linear and wasn't enough flying stages. That said, they're still fun games.

Now I feel like an idiot for overreacting. Circumstances beyond our control meant that the trip I was looking forward to wound up getting cancelled for nothing.

We were all frustrated over it, enough so that, somehow, we convinced fate to let us resume that one, just at a later time.

So we went to my brother and sister's place, since at that point, the reason that trip got cancelled was basically...cancelled itself.

At least it was fun hanging with them. They didn't seem angry, either, and I got my Sonic and Mega Man amiibos...while being jealous of their own collection. They have Lucario, a Meta Knight, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Shulk, Pit, and they're getting King Dedede in the mail.

Sounds confusing? I'm still trying to make sense of it myself!

Huh, what a coincidence. I also have Shulk and Lucario amiibos. I'm not bragging, just...well...you know. Stating fact.

And since it was lost to the sands of time...I bring my "adorable Kuro" card back from the graveyard and re-shuffle him into my deck.

Definitely not now (been spending too much as-is), but somewhere down the line.
