I got an email from Namecheap about  what happened earlier:

While the site is up and running at the moment, be aware that there might be other outages until it's fully resolved.

This action alone coaxed me into making a Twitter account for the site, so that if something happens, you'll know what's going on. I'll post it here when I make it.

Yes there was. It happened for about 45 minutes if I recall.
