I figure since the comic is still updating we should discuss the new pages and our thoughts here.

So today (8/28) we see the first comic strip drawn by Jeffrey "Chamba" Cruz. I was worried of how this might look because I'm used to Hitoshi Ariga's art style in all the strips drawn so far. But surprisingly he still makes Klonoa look cute though the difference in styles is noticeable. I wonder how many strips Chamba will draw? (Also Klonoa's hoverboard appears... sweet!)
.. any thoughts on who's shadow that might be? I'm thinking Guntz.

I was surprised by the change in art style. I'm thinking it's like a guest comic strip style.

I think the shadowy figure looks the most like Guntz, mostly because of the ears and muzzle.

And since Shiftylook has hinted at Guntz appearing in the comic multiple times.

A part of me is worried, since the place Klonoa has ended up looks distressingly like that future city from the Pac-Man cartoon >.>

It does seem like it could be Guntz though, since the four points on the shadow correspond to his ears and muzzle tufts.

I'm feeling though like the problem of going too fast has re-emerged. That dream energy tunnel or whatever it was vanished as soon as it appeared, and there isn't even a moment taken to show off the new environment before dropping in a new plot element.

If Klonoa somehow ended up in that new Pacman tv show then maybe he could save PacMan from his nightmares.. then he can peacefully sleep and never be seen again.. oh wait.
