Another thread inspired by one in another forum. The name says it all. Opinions you have that everyone else seems to disagree with. We also accept opinions you're not sure are popular or not, since in some cases, they tend not to be expressed much, if at all.

EDIT: We shouldn't talk about any opinions on religion, though. All it does is rile up people on all sides of the debate, and that causes huge messes that rarely end well, so I would prefer it not be brought up.

I'll start by saying that with framerate, I really don't care if it's 30 FPS or 60 FPS or what have you. I'll only complain if it isn't at least fairly consistent.

Seems if it's not the debate between 8-bit, 16-bit, 32-bit or 64-bit, it's a debate on framerate. Our sense of gaming really has been brought down to numbers! I've never seen so much debate on framerate.

Any unpopular opinions you have amd would like to share?

...Well...Pokemon Channel, Other M, and Starfox Adventures weren't THAT bad,...

Also, CHRONO CROSS is an AWESOME game. So what if the battle system is confusing as heck, and 50% of the stor was explained in a text dump JUST MOMENTS BEFORE the Final Boss? It had a lot of cool things going for it beyond the music, which is absolutely divine, as everyone states.

I hate Donkey Kong Country 1&2
It's for personal reasons but seeing the games makes me really angry/uneasy/sick. The music is cool though, I guess.

As for my unpopular opinion, I liked Far Cry 2 a lot more than Far Cry 3. Far Cry 2 was such an immersive game, so I could understand the annoyances of having to find malaria medicine and weapons jamming if you used them too often. Far Cry 3 just felt like an open world CoD clone with really shallow "RPG Elements" (It's like Skyrim with guns!)

These are just a few opinions I have that are so often looked down on:

• I like Brawl more than I like Melee (I even consider Brawl my all-time favorite game)
• Twilight Princess is my favorite game in the Zelda series
• I don't think Mario or Luigi are better than one another
• I really don't care about how complex or developed a character is. If I don't like that character, or at least find them interesting, I find no reason to care about them
• I don't like Sonic very much
• I don't like Pokemon very much
• I think Halo is a pretty underrated franchise (especially as of late)
• I don't think gaming is "dead". It's just in a crappy state nowadays
• I think video games still have a bright future ahead

Okay, I think it's time I lay down another relatively unpopular opinion of mine, though I might get some flak for this one...

...I didn't really mind Lucas being cut, and I don't really see him being prioritized as DLC.

Sorry, but yeah. I never played Mother 3, and I'm sure it's an awesome game....but I was never really into Lucas as a Smash character. Eh, it's sad to see him go, though, and I'm sure he'll be brought back as DLC...BUT NOT BEFORE WOLF.

Also unpopular? I actually WANT to see Pichu return as DLC. If only to see everyone's (over)reaction to that. And be honest, you TOTALLY want to see Pichu vs. Dark Pit, don't deny it.
