Well, users seem to be spam a whole lot on the shoutbox and are addicted to it. Plus, the shoutbox seems to take the users' attention away from the rest of the message boards.
While I don't fully agree with the extremity of this decision (How could it be taking away from the message boards if it's just as much a part of the forum? Besides, better Spam fill up the shoutbox temporarily than fill up the more serious portions of the Message Board FOREVER), I can understand the reasoning for this action (me being responsible for 50% of that spam, and I do apologize for that), and will abide by this decision...SO LONG AS IT'S TEMPORARY. I mean, it sorta provides a kind of instantaneous, immediate, and spontaneous small-talk that provides the multi-involvement of the message board while allowing small talk that could be considerd too small to warrant starting an entire topic about, via PM. (I could bring up the fact that Final used it as his main means of communication on here, but he no longer comes here, so I'll drop that point.)
Though, expecting backlash from this is imminent. but then, most everyone here will understand, so no worries.
