Really any development of the IP at this point would be welcome. I've enjoyed all the handheld spin-offs I've been able to track down. I hope this happens!

Rupurudu!

Meh. I want a sequel, not a remake or a spinoff. Please Namco Bandai make it happen!

As much as I would love a sequel, it won't happen as long as we don't support anything Klonoa related. I'll still buy the game as it will show Namco that we're interested in Klonoa.

Baby steps. We'll get there.  :D

I read an article saying it's most likely a virtual console release for wii u. Also, there's a separate topic for that.

I wonder why none of Klonoa's handheld games have been ported to iOS/Android? I saw Mr.driller was available in Apple's App Store the other day.
Is someone preventing it from happening?

Well, I'm not sure of the legality/morality of this, but using the GBA4iOS 2.0 app, you can download ROMs of the GBA games and play them on your Apple device. There's a few hurdles to jump through to get it working, but its not too hard and its great fun having them on there!

It's not about playing games on the phone/tablet. It's about why the games are not gotten officially ported...
If Klonoa's games were gotten ported, then more people could know him.

That sounds like a good idea, but it might be difficult to port and/or play.

My sketch about how virtual buttons are placed (for the right-handed):

It lacked pause button though.
I came up with the idea after I played some good retro-like mobile games, like "Bloo Kid 2" for iOS/Android and "Run Kitty Run" for iphone.

I'm sure controls are not a problem for our beloved Klonoa running wild on any mobile phones.
Plus they can make a online ranking for the time attack in extra visions.
