I personally don't know how to feel about virtual buttons/gaming on smarphones. They just don't feel 'right' to me. Plus my hands and fingers are massive and would take up the screen. :\

I've been playing Dream Champ Tournament lately on GBA4iOS, and have had this problem. Sometimes not having tactile buttons causes me to miss a button press. And in some of the visions, especially hoverboard, racing, and moving screen visions, it has some negative consequences, and can become quite annoying. There's not that many ways around the issue though.

Well, I think Empire of Dreams is suited for porting because it's more like a puzzle platformer rather than just a classical action game.
And I guess most smartphone games are used to virtual buttons. By carefully placing the game screen and buttons, it shouldn't be too "weird" than playing with a real handheld console.
Of course G2 aka Dream Champ Tournament can be also ported, but it needs some adjustment first though, for there are more action elements in it.
I just don't know what's Bandai Namco doing...if the very company had put all of its old games on every web stores already, then SL might last longer.
I really hope the closing of SL is just a "tactical withdrawal"...

I just remembered something! On the ShiftyLook forums, there was a topic about someone finding some concept art on KlonoaWorks' tumblr page and some of the replies said it was fake because KlonoaWork was absorbed when Namco merged with Bandai, but the art was taken down after the topic was made AND after he got a response from Namco about the Klonoa series. Anyone smell something suspicious? Because, I do now.

Was this the same tumblr that hosted these pictures:

If so thats too bad  :( whether or not the pics were "real," they were still very intriguing, giving probably the most accurate picture of what a Klonoa 3 might look like.

EDIT: this is the one I was thinking of:

So did Carmina drew those?

Obviously not, those are not Carmina Suva's style.
But looking at the sentence "Klonoa for Hitoshi Ariga's 15th Anniversary." - The wrong/weird grammar is something Carmina Suva would use. I guess (s)he just posted the pictures.
BTW, I posted a link in ShiftyLook forum before, which takes you to a Japanese Klonoa 3 petition webpage started 2005. And the link in my post got deleted by a mod twice - I wonder if Carmina Suva did it because I found "another" Carmina Suva was there, left comments in Japanese. Did somebody not want to reveal itself?
