Ok what I mean by filtering is this in vba-m Options>Pixel Filter>Magnifacation.
One I think looks good is xBRZ Filtering if you must get filtered sprites at all this one is amazing.

Another Method and one I prefer right now since it is most accurate is to go to Tool>OAM Viewer
And save the sprite right out of the games memory. you have to click one of the blocks and find the right sprite. It should show what you picked on screen.
