*talks in Egoraptors voice* oh boy it's an anime!

Ehem, well I recently watched Attack on Titan, and thought it was so good it needed a thread dedicated to itself.

Attack on Titan is an action/fighting anime about a civilization of people who are constantly under attack by these massive huminoid creatures called Titans. Humans have never won a battle with them, so they walled themselves in a huge 100 foot wall. For 100 years it worked, but one day the titans broke it and killed over 70% of the population. There is no reason for titans to be doing this, then just to kill. The anime follows Eren, a boy determined to join the army and wipe out each and every titan alive. There are only 25 episodes right now, but more are coming out in April.

So thought I would make a thread where we can talk about the show and stuff. Imma start by showing the opening.

Watched several episodes of AoT, I'm in love with the first season anime OP.

I watched it back when it was first airing (waiting a week for new episodes was torture) and I really liked it. Looking back, it was kind of formulaic, and nothing world-changing, but it wasn't bad. The visuals and animation were really the biggest draw for me.

Have you played Feng's fangame for it? I never had the time to dedicate to actually practicing and getting good at it, but it's fun. Hard as heck, but fun.

AoT is like, like life right now XD I can never stop listening to the opening. And no, I didn't know there was a game for it. I'll look it up.

Needless to say I'm rather peeved by the manga at the moment, since the whole "humanity trying to survive Titans" is starting to look more like generic Shonen material if you've read the more recent chapters.
