He kept saying that he'd stop with the Metal Gear franchise since way back with MGS3. The only reason he was still working on them is because he was told to. I guess with him leaving, he'll finally have the last word.

More power to him, I suppose. Though, with the way Konami's been treating this, I don't expect them to flourish that much more...
