I don't even know Samsung is interested in AMD's "presentation" technology.

Samsung might need a different GPU for Exynos - just like what Mediatek has done - rather than the whole AMD.

Not going to happen. Unlike Intel which focuses power efficency and SOCs on latest generations, AMD's CPUs are useless on mobile devices.

The only sector I'm thinking is the GPU sector, but then there are better alternatives like PowerVR, S3 Graphics...

With more and more people started to abandon desktop systems, AMD looks like a dead company to me.

AMD is trash and Samsung accepts elites only.
Only Apple can have Imagination design a customized PowerVR GPU because of their partnership.
S3 Graphics...you'll have to ask HTC first. S3 now act as a shield against patent trolls.

Maybe AMD would license its Radeon and join the race again.
MediaTek, Samsung and AMD are founders of the HSA Foundation. Reportedly, MediaTek is working with AMD on mobile SoC graphics.
We might a new mobile variant of Radeon soon.
STOP global warming. SAVE polar bears.
SEND every low-power efficiency AMD FX to your local recycling center.

Wow. HTC bought S3? :sad face:
VIA acquired S3 in 2001, then sold it to HTC in 2011.
By the way, VIA's chairman also co-founded HTC. You know what it means...

Anyone saw my hidden messages? :P
