I want to see pictures of things in nature you find beautiful. I have very recently regained an interest in videos and pictures of natural disasters my self but there are many things out there that naturally occur that can be called beautiful.
It is supposed to storm today at my place and I am eagerly awaiting this :)

So I'll start with one of my favorites right now being volcanic heat lighting. My other is tornados but then I'd end up with a deluge of images.

It was either Lenticular Clouds or Bio-luminescent Plankton.
Lenticular Clouds won.

Not only do I think this is beautiful, it is truly the most awesome thing I've ever seen nature do. Behold the firewhirl, the fire tornado!

Burnadoes are awesome. :3

I've always had a great fondness for Winter, so naturally (no pun intended) I'd love seeing ice fogs. There's just something about it that I find calming and beautiful, even at its heaviest...

Cloud iridescence has intrigued me for some time now...even if I had no idea it was even called that until jsut now, when I looked up "Rainbow Clouds".

I remember I was in Colombia  for the first time with family and they live in a city called Medellin,it's a city on a mountain city surrounded by,guess what? More mountains. So one night I went out to the balcony and half the mountain was on fire It looked so close I got scared beyond belief but it was gorgeous too. It was something like this but at night and the mountain was steeper. (Sorry for low quality, only picture I could find remotely close to what I needed.

On one of my mountain biking trips we stopped to overlook a body of water. The water was naturally blue from the minerals it picked up while passing through rock. The trail we rode followed the river until it plunged underground. Eventually it reappeared as this body of water, seeping out of the rock face. The contrast between lush green and a vibrant blue was mesmerizing. The depth of the water was 70 feet...those twigs at the bottom are logs.

The picture is unedited and the green/blue truly was that color. More photos of the trail here: [link]
