My game idea (Which is why I made this thread) is an RPG game, Presumably for 3DS, Which also is half rhythm game (Undertale, Mother 3, Rhythm Heaven and Osu get put in a blender) where all the battles, Instead of pressing stuff and doing things will be a rhythm game, And each attack works differently. Depending on how well you do, The more damage your attack does. Eh, I don't know?

Anyway i got a really big idea for a game im actually making right now. I'll post a thread about i when i gets further into development so i don't spoil anything. But i will say that it's a sidescrolling action platformer. It's taking inspiration from Shantae, Klonoa, Freedom Planet, Grandia 3, and Okami. Its gonna have a ton of Japanese mythology and Shinto refferences like Okami. And it's about pirates XD

I usually keep random ideas in my head. But I've had the goal of wanting to build some kind of giant world. I may just need only a level editor but I want a game universe I can enjoy to mess with that with.


Also. though I don't see me doing this due to lack of a lotta things needed to make a semi decent game. Is to make a game that uses almost no written language and relies on various sort of interpretations for communication instead of the usual npc dialog and all that stuff.


Neh I'm always too ambitious when I make stuff though. I've had lots of other ideas I just get really meh when it comes to how much I have to learn or do to make it a thing.

I have an idea for a hard yet easy to execute game-
I was playing Super Mario Maker and I had an idea for a fangame.
What it would be is there would be a procedurally generated castle that had no end, And you would try to survive for the longest time possible, All while it got harder and harder and would change depending on the time of day. People could then share their times online and they could also start exploration parties via LAN/Wireless.

I have a crazy idea for a game (for mobile devices at least). Remember Flappy Bird? (I sure don't) I'm thinking what if that bird would be replaced by Klonoa and no, it will not be called "Flappy Klonoa" (that would be stupid). I'm thinking it would be like Flappy Bird's gameplay mechanic. You tap on Klonoa in order to flap his ears to keep him from falling from the sky while also avoiding obstacles. There will be some variety here like collecting dreamstones, mirror spirit (doubles the dreamstones collected for a short period of time) and a spirit that grants you invincibility for a short time. When you collected enough dreamstones, you can use them in shops to purchase some new outfits for Klonoa, new backgrounds, etc. You can also use it to buy some life coin in order to continue your progress when you hit an obstacle or fallen from the sky. That's all I can think for now. Hope you like my crazy idea.

Reminds me of when I messed with an unfinfished Klonoa engine sorta game that was on here. I quite enjoyed making some test levels for it but the project seems abandoned : (
