What are some things that annoy you in video games?

While I don't hate them, random encounter battles can get old for me after a while, especially if I've been playing for a long time and just want to get from point A to point B.

Graystripe2000

Hands Down METROIDS in Metroid prime. The hunter METROIDS and the fission metroids especially.

the_darai

Mobs that randomly spawn in right by you in MMOs. This is probably one reason why I hate most of them.

I just want to say long loading time is very, very painful.

When games with like 4 player free for alls have the AI only come after you during the majority of the matches. SSBB and Sonic Battle are good examples of this.

Also, when a game throws flying enemies at you when it god well knows you can't combat against them effectively. -_-

Tails' Fake Rings

When foes claim to "get serious" when you start winning. Why weren't they being serious before?

Thorp

my gaming peeves... when games don't allow the player to skip cutscenes, tutorials or the game usurps player control at any time. For instance playing avp2010 predator campaign the game will root the player until they perform the tutorial tip and lock any basic or advanced skills until the tutorial covers the information. Another annoyance is when dialogue scenes trap the player in a room and won't let them advance until the dialogue you've heard 2+ times already is over. These = instant immesion loss

There are quite a few things in video games that bug me to no end... :(

Here we go:
-RPG Bosses that heal themselves
-Super Slippery Ice Physics
-Mind-reading Enemy AI
-Mind-numbing Partner AI
-Fake Difficulty (Where higher difficulty levels make enemies take and give more damage, rather than make them smarter)
-Checkpoints that are few and far between
-Save Points that are few and far between
-Unjustified DLC
-Favorite characters that don't get enough screentime (Tron Bonne especially)
-Lag (This is the main reason why I prefer local multiplayer) >:(

LOL. I guess it's a trend to "disassemble" a whole game into parts and sell them separately?

Welp, I have a reason to share this now! (In a spoiler tag because the picture's a bit big)

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

If anyone has ever played Left 4 Dead 2 on single player mode, you'll know what I'm talking about. So how did these three goofs end up hanging on the ledge? A Spitter shot at them and they decided it would be a good idea to jump off the ledge, while I stayed in a corner where it couldn't hit me.

They were all promptly hit with an axe shortly after I pulled them up. -_-
