We would like to apologize for the severe delay in the release of this issue. There was a bit of a problem with having the entire magazine crew living in the same area. While there is a great advantage of being to interact instantaneously, unfortunately, it also means we all attend school in the same district, which also means we all have finals at the same time. We
did not know that the release date that we had set overlapped with our district's dead week, but this is what ended up happening. Now that summer is here, we finally have the time to finalize the magazine as well as explain ourselves to you all.
The good news is that we have learned from this event! We will be more attentive to our real life schedules, and if any more conflicts do arise, which we actually doubt, we will be sure to alert everybody
at least two weeks in advance, and we will extend the submission deadline as well.
We hope you enjoy our first issue of what we hope will become a wonderful community project!
