Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, sooo sorry for poofing like that. When I made my last post, I was only like two visions in and hadn't seen much. (I felt like I embarrassed myself with that, and I get super aloof whenever I feel like I've messed up, which is one of my worst habits I haven't been able to shake.) But I've played through the whole game now, so, yeah, not totally ignorant. Wahoo~
So yeah, was totally avoiding coming on here aaand started transcribing some stuff as I was playing the game and put it in a Google Drive folder ...
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B2lZ_MSsxSVkMm81dlBrZ21pTkk&usp=sharingThe contact info file is open to edit for anyone with the link, so if people add their e-mails and stuff, I can grant editing access to anyone here. I haven't done much translating yet. Got some weapon and armor descriptions in there, but I haven't checked to see exactly how long of a description fits, so, haha, those will need to be ... made more succinct or just to sound nicer in general, so it's not like any translation I've given is set in stone. ("Dry Wind Ring" sound silly, for instance. Not all translations need to be literal if it fits the theme, I think.)
All the events in the game can be gotten to again through Klonoa's House, so that's convenient. I did transcribe all the text from villagers I could get, 'cause some of those do change.
(Also, I'm like two weeks away from graduating from university if I don't do anything really dumb, and that's uh, a high-priority thing, so I won't be working too much on this for a little while longer.)
EDIT: Oh, welp, I had typed this up and only then saw that there's another thread already for the translation of the first stuff. Eheh, I'll look at that soonish, but I have some homework I've been procrastinating on that I need to get to ... (One of my other worst habits, not even wanting to think about homework when there's a lot to do and then spend a whole night awake thinking about how bad it would be to sleep without having done the homework instead of actually doing the homework. Anyway ...)
