"Custom Point" sounds reasonable to me. You can allocate the points to the 4 "talents" as you like, therefore you're actually customizing your characters and the way you play.

In the game, Klonoa wears T-shirts, Gantz/Guntz wears jackets and Pango wears...scales? (It's "ウロコ" in original Japanese) I hadn't found terms other than "Protective Gears" to describe all of them "at the same time". Using either "armors" or "clothes" for ぼうぐ is weird to me.

Each of the character can equip 2 accessories, so I used the plural form. I didn't mean those "slots" you allocate points to.

But "ウロコ" means scale(s). Besides, the description "パンゴのせなかを　まもってろ" seems to mean "protects Pango's back". Although he does wear a overall, his protection are different kinds of "scales".

Yes - not all accessories boost your stats. There are ones grant special effects. Like crystals and colored stones multiply the damage you make by a certain number. Some accessories even decrease one of your stats and increase the other one.
The point is, however, Silvuh might think "accessories" I said before are the "slots" you allocate the points to. I just want to make myself clear.
"Outfit" - that's a great idea! T-shirts and jackets are surely outfits, I still don't know how to deal with the "scales" thing though.

@Megahog2014 I understand you really want to help, but it seems we haven't come to a plan yet. We're still figuring out what to do and assigning jobs. Please be patient, and thanks for all your good intentions.

I've mentioned we need forts before, and you can check my translations to see if there's something wrong. Finding addresses of the scripts in a hexadecimal editor is helpful, too.

EDIT: Most importantly, we need everyone spread the news and test the game once translations are done! You can use Translhextion to find where the scripts are.

I guess everyone are busy with their lives now, so it does look like a mess. What's more, no one is really good at ROM hacking here. I had learned to edit sprites, but the rest remains a problem.

That's actually a great idea. I have limited knowledge with Translhextion and it took me a while to learn it myself. Make sure to make another thread in this forum though. We don't to flood this thread too bad.  I might make another thread about some of the other tools as well.
