Apparently, some combat elements wre taken out of the E3 demo to keep from spoiling a future announcement. Given that the blog post that was posted earlier this week mentioned a promo video coming, I guess they're saving that announcement for it. http://www.siliconera.com/2015/06/19/project-x-zone-2-will-have-better-combat-but-the-producer-wont-say-how/

I hope they make the combat system like Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Endless Frontier so we could also see the enemies' attack animations. I also wanted to see boss units do combo attacks and perform their hypers after executing their combos. That is all I ask.

Release date in Japan is November 12. Combat will use a new element called "Mirage Cancel". First print bonuses revealed.

That's good to hear  . I actually like them more than the previous main protagonists in PXZ maybe because I got used to them since I already played Namco X Capcom.

A guy on GameFAQS was able to translate the new character's profile.

The new character is named Chizuru Urashima, voiced by Mariko Kouda. She's the owner of that huge red vehicle, apparently called "Ryuukii Chidou".

Promo video's up. Unfortunately, the game seems to have been delayed in Europe. No word yet if this will be the case for North America too.
